Marking with a single mark of circulation on the market, meet requirements for user manual and other technical documentation is an integral part of technical regulation in the field of conformity assessment
EAC Marking requirements
In accordance with technical regulations requirements (as example article 8. of CU TR 020) , products certified according to CU/EAEU Technical Regulations have to be labelled with the EAC Mark. EAC marking should complete next conditions:
- EAC mark should be put on technical device only after passing the conformity assessment procedure (obtained EAC DoC/CoC) and before products being imported (put on market).
- EAC mark should provide a clear image the entire service life of the technical device (uneraseable), and is also should be printed on the attached operational documents.
- It is allowed to print EAC mark only on the packaging and in the operational documents, if it is impossible to print it directly on the technical device.
Marking size is set by EEC Decision N 711 of 15.07.2011 and set base size should be at least 5mm.

GOST R Marking
Products certified according to Russia Government Regulation N 2425 of 23.12.2022 have to be labeled with CTP Mark:
There is no clear information about marking requirements, but highly recommend to follow same conditions as with EAC marking.

User manual and other technical documents
According to technical regulation (for example CU TR 020) user manual and other technical documentation meets next requirements:
- The name and (or) designation of the technical device (type, brand, model – if have), its main parameters and characteristics, the name and (or) trademark of the manufacturer, the name of the country where the technical device is manufactured, should be printed on the technical device and indicated in the attached operational documents. In this case, the name of the manufacturer and (or) its trademark, the name and designation of the technical device (type, brand, model – if have) must also be applied to the packaging.
- If the information given in paragraph 1 of this article cannot be printed on technical device (it is necessary to argue the impossibility), they may be indicated only in the operational documents attached to this technical device. In this case, the name of the manufacturer and (or) its trademark, the name and designation of the technical device (type, brand, model-if available) must be applied to the packaging.
- The marking of the technical device must be legible, easy to read and applied to the technical device in a place accessible for vision-in-sight without disassembly with another tools.
- The operational documents (user manual) for the technical device must contain:
- the information listed in paragraph 1 of this article;
- information about the purpose of the technical device;
- characteristics and parameters;
- rules and conditions for the installation of the technical device, its connection to the electrical network and other technical means, start – up, regulation and commissioning, if the implementation of these rules and conditions is necessary to ensure compliance of the technical means with the requirements of this technical regulation of the Customs Union;
- information about restrictions of using technical device in residential, commercial and industrial areas;
- rules and conditions of safe operation (use);
- rules and conditions of storage, transportation( transportation), sale and disposal (if necessary – setting requirements for them);
- information on measures to be taken when a malfunction of a technical device is detected;
- the name and location of the manufacturer (the person authorized by the manufacturer), the importer, information for communication with them;
- the month and year of manufacture of the technical device and (or) information about the method of determining the year of manufacture.
- Operational documents are executed in Russian and in the state language (s) of the member state of the Customs Union, if there are relevant requirements in the legislation of the member State(s) of the Customs Union. Operational documents are executed on paper. They can be accompanied by a set of operational documents on electronic media. Operational documents included in the set of technical equipment for non-household purposes can only be executed on electronic media.
