EAEU (ex. CU) Introduce<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union)<\/a> is an international organization for regional economic integration. It has international legal personality and is established by the The Member-States of the Eurasian Economic Union which are the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All products produced in the EAEU or being imported into the EAEU are obliged to be certified in accordance with EAEU Technical Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

EAC Certificate or Declaration?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with Law No. 184-FZ of 27 December 2002 “About Technical Regulation”<\/a> (consolidation, 23 December 2021) there are two forms of conformity assessment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Certificate of Conformity (CoC)<\/li>
  2. Declaration of Conformity (DoC)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Both documents CoC or DoC have equal legal force<\/strong>, but:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Certificate<\/strong><\/td>Declaration<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
    Requires annual inspection control<\/td>No any inspection control required while DoC lifetime<\/td><\/tr>
    Requires test report from accredited laboratory on the territory of the EAEU<\/td>3-rd party laboratory (including foreign laboratory) test reports can be accepted in most projects<\/td><\/tr>
    Depend on accreditation of certification body and laboratories<\/td>No risk because of no accredited bodies involved<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>
